Thanks for this re-frame of the language! Came here as I read through TGB blog, struck that you "came out" as dwelling in assisted living place. Talk about attitudes toward aging: it was difficult to engage people there and my own blog when I was deciding on moving to retirement community 5 years ago.
Had great time reading your posts about politics now. Less upbeat than you about where we're headed but I do have days when younger people daring to enter the scene make me hopeful. April 2 cartoon is devastating. Might lift it! -naomi
